Spurred on by the idea that you can change things in the national economy by empowering your local micro-economy, this page is dedicated to connecting locally-owned businesses in my area and potentially around the state of Colorado. It stands to reason that if 60-80% of employees in the U.S. are indeed employed by small businesses, as consumers we can help grow and sustain businesses right in our own backyard. This creates jobs, community-based support and interaction, and the potential for revitalizing waning business districts. Consider doing a similar page on your site: you just might get a local business more customers they wouldn’t have had otherwise.
